Prayer
Salvation belongeth unto the Lord. Thy blessing is
upon thy people (Ps. 3:8). He is a buckler to all those that trust in Him. For who is God, save the Lord? Or who is a rock,
save our God? (Ps. 18:30-31 Sa. 2:2).
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my
heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer. Thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait
all the day.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall
I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall
I be afraid?
The Lord is their strength, and He is the saving strength
of his anointed.
Into thine hand I commit my spirit; thou hast redeemed
me, O Lord, God of truth.
The Lord is upon them that fear Him; upon them that
hope in His mercy, to deliver their soul from death. The Lord redeemeth the soul of His servants, and none of them that trust
in Him shall be desolate.
With thee is the fountain of life; in thy light shall
we see light.
Amen.
