The hurt I’ve felt inside.

Only God knows

All the tears I’ve cried.

 

Only God knows

My heartache and my fears.

Only God knows

The suffering of the years.

 

Never meeting the expectations

Falling short of any dream.

Always the rejection

That’s been my life it seems.

 

Only God knows

The hope I had that seems to fade away.

The agony of the thought

To face another day.

 

Let me withdraw, my Lord

And spend my time in you,

Father I’m so weakened

And I don’t know what to do.
